Hi, I’m Aya and I run the AyaCafeBlog. I recently visited the newly opened Botanical House cafe in Tsurumi Ryokuchi Park, Osaka on March 25, 2023! The Botanical House, which has just opened, is a recommended spot where you can enjoy the rich natural beauty of the park with your five senses by offering menus using herbs and colorful edible flowers.
Enter from the central entrance of the park, proceed on the central street, cross the central fountain, and it’s the building on the left as you head towards the large pond (about 250m from the central entrance).
Weekdays 11:00-18:00 / Sat, Sun, and holidays 11:00-21:00
The cafe is located in Tsurumi Ryokuchi Park and faces a large pond within the park. It is conveniently accessible in Osaka city. Tsurumi No Mori Geihinkan, known as a wedding venue, is also located in Tsurumi Ryokuchi Park, and its chef supervises the menu at Botanical House. I was captivated by the Botanical curry and pasta, elaborate dishes using fresh herbs and vegetables, and colorful desserts with plenty of edible flower petals.
Now, as for the interior of the cafe, most of the seats are terrace seats and are located by the side of the large pond. There are also seats like counter seats facing the pond. It was a beautiful day when I visited, so it was very pleasant. There were many solo female customers as it was a weekday afternoon.
I ordered the Botanical House bagna càuda.
First of all, the salad dressing was incredibly delicious, and I was surprised that it was of the Geihinkan quality! Then, the grilled vegetables were carefully grilled one by one, and they were so delicious and fragrant. The main Romaine lettuce was fresh and juicy. The soup was a complimentary soup from the lunch menu, so I didn’t have high expectations, but it was also very delicious! It had plenty of ingredients, and I wanted to drink more than one cup.
I was very satisfied! Thank you for the wonderful meal.
After the meal, I drank coffee from the lunch set and relaxed. The mug was also an original mug with a flower pattern and was cute.
The dessert was also very cute, but I’ll save it for my next visit. By the way, the dessert looked like this.
It seemed like the barbecue space was fully equipped and you could enjoy a barbecue there, although it didn’t seem to be open when I went. On weekends and holidays, there was also a dinner menu available, and there were quite a lot of types of alcohol. I think it would be lovely on a summer evening. I definitely want to go there again.

El “Botanical House” recién inaugurado es un lugar recomendado donde se puede disfrutar de la belleza del parque natural y experimentar los cinco sentidos a través de su menú, que utiliza hierbas y flores comestibles de colores vibrantes.

La cafetería se encuentra dentro del Parque Tsurumi Ryokuchi, justo en frente de un gran lago dentro del parque. Es un lugar de fácil acceso en la ciudad de Osaka.
Además, el chef del salón de banquetes “Tsurumi-no-mori Geihinkan”, conocido como lugar para bodas, supervisa el menú del “Botanical House”.
Me encantaron los platos especiales del chef de “Tsurumi-no-mori Geihinkan”, como el curry y la pasta de botánica, elaborados con hierbas y verduras frescas, y los coloridos postres hechos con muchos pétalos comestibles.
Ahora bien, en cuanto al ambiente del local, está ubicado junto al gran lago y la mayoría de las mesas son para terrazas.
Fui un día soleado, así que fue muy agradable. También hay asientos tipo bar que dan al lago y a menudo había mujeres solas durante el día de la semana.
Pedí una fondue de verduras.
Primero que nada, el aderezo de la ensalada era delicioso. ¡Me sorprendió que fuera de la calidad del salón de banquetes! Además, las verduras asadas que acompañaban la fondue eran tan sabrosas, cada una cocinada con gran cuidado y deliciosamente crujientes. La lechuga romana principal era fresca y jugosa. La sopa era parte del menú del almuerzo y no esperaba mucho de ella, pero también fue deliciosa. Había muchos ingredientes en la sopa y me dieron ganas de beber más de un vaso. ¡Estaba muy satisfecha! ¡Gracias por la comida!
Tomé un café como parte del almuerzo después de comer y la taza de café también era original y muy linda, con un estampado de flores.
El postre también era muy lindo, pero lo guardaré para mi próxima visita. Por cierto, así es como se ve el postre.
Cuando fui parecía que todavía no habían abierto, pero había una zona de barbacoa completa y parecía que también se podía disfrutar de una barbacoa.
Los fines de semana y festivos también había un menú de cena disponible y había una buena cantidad de tipos de bebidas. Creo que las noches de verano también serían geniales.
